Local Life Experience is an intimate visit to a local home in Sauðárkrókur.
This is not a typical tour – it’s a calm, friendly moment where you get the chance to:

My aim is to invite travelers to experience the Icelandic life and nature as deeply as we can. You will learn about Icelandic life and culture, get some stories and take in the beautiful view from my house and garden.

Hi! My name is Hafdís and I live here in Sauðárkrókur with my family and our friendly dog.
I’ve always loved welcoming guests and sharing what makes life in Northern Iceland so special — slow days, fresh air, strong community, and a deep connection to nature and animals.
I created Local Life Experience because I wanted visitors to Iceland to feel the real Iceland — not only through sightseeing, but through genuine human connection.
My goal is that you leave with memories, not just photos.
